Choosing Songs for Your Baby's Remembrance
__________________________________________________________
A bird does not sing because he has an answer,
he sings because he has a song ~Chinese proverb
Sr. Jane Marie Lamb, Foundress of Share, says in Bittersweet...hellogoodbye that "music has the power to express the experience of any reality in a way the spoken word cannot...and it offers a channel to express emotions that cannot find words." For many bereaved parents, the songs they choose for their baby's funeral is an important aspect of the service, and choosing songs which bring comfort will have an impact on the family in the months and years to come.
